Permafrost White Hell: Lunar clothing and quest checks

Before handing the Lunar blueprints to Jeremy, study them. At the Tailoring Bench, the developer says the Lunar set appears under the name “Permafrost.” If you are following Dressed for White Hell, check its clothing objectives rather than assuming a Lunar tool unlock also completed the clothing quest. This is a preparation checklist, not a complete White Hell route.

Keep the blueprint step ahead of the hand-in

  1. During Where It All Began, obtain the Lunar blueprints and study them before giving them to Jeremy.
  2. Open the Tailoring Bench and look for the Permafrost set, even if your quest calls it Lunar clothing.
  3. Check the active objective and craft the requested piece. If the blueprint was handed over before being studied and recipes are missing, preserve the save and report that order of actions.

The developers explicitly warn that handing the blueprints over first can leave the recipes locked. They do not document a universal retroactive unlock in that post, so searching indefinitely for a differently named recipe is not a confirmed recovery.[1]

Which pieces does Dressed for White Hell request?

The published quest record lists the clothing tasks in this order: Lunar Cloak, Lunar Jacket, Lunar Gloves, Lunar Pants and Lunar Boots. It follows Where it all began and leads onward to The Last Stand. This is community-provided quest data, not proof of the exact recipe costs or a tested temperature guarantee.[2]

Use the task list as a check against your journal. A tool tier, a blueprint-tree phase and a completed clothing objective are different checkpoints. If your current build shows a different order, follow the live journal and record the discrepancy instead of crafting spare pieces at random.

Why old roadmap wording can mislead

The October 15 official patch fixes floating lamps in White Hell. It is therefore inaccurate to use an older roadmap alone to say the named area does not exist. The roadmap still describes future additions under that name; that is not a guarantee that every planned enemy, location or story element is present now.[3]

This page does not establish a safe minimum resistance, a full endgame path or a strategy for Hell Runner without Lunar Armor. Those need their own observed conditions. For ordinary Cold Zone trips, use the warmth and return-route checks; keep a backup before an irreversible quest hand-in.
