The short version
- The site has no accounts, comments, forms or newsletter.
- The site's own code doesn't set cookies or store anything in your browser.
- Three outside services are involved: Cloudflare (hosting, analytics and email protection), Google AdSense (advertising) and Gmail (if you email us).
Hosting and security: Cloudflare
The site is served through Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Two Cloudflare features are switched on:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics adds a small script that reports page views and page-loading performance. Cloudflare says this product collects metrics through the browser's Performance API and does not collect or use visitors' personal data. We see only aggregated numbers.
- Email address obfuscation hides the contact email address from spam bots and loads a small script that reveals it in your browser.

Advertising: Google AdSense
Content pages load the Google AdSense script. Google may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud, and it may personalise ads based on your activity. Whether ads actually appear depends on Google. The About, Contact and Privacy pages and the error page don't load this script.
You can control ad personalisation in Google's My Ad Center (external site), and learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services (external site). This site doesn't run its own cookie banner; you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
If you email [email protected], your address and message are received through Gmail and kept only as long as needed to deal with your message. Google's handling of that email is covered by the Google Privacy Policy (external site). Please don't send sensitive personal information.
Fonts, images and links
Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third-party font or image services. Links to Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
Children
The site isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.
